Installing Your Stainless Steel U Bolts

You’re going to need a drill and some accurate measurements. Even though it’s relatively intuitive to install U bolts, you can still make mistakes if not careful, and the result can be extra drill holes that will need filling down the track.

You want to ensure you’re cross-checking the following to get the installation right from the get-go:

remove the nuts that come with the U bolt and measure where you want to drill the holes
thread the U bolt through the holes
secure on the other side with the nuts

To avoid threading the stainless steel U bolts, try to reduce the amount you move the nuts and be careful when inserting the ends through the drill holes.
